Before beginning any troubleshooting, maintenance, or repairs, remember to coordinate your actions with members of your team and those who will be affected by your actions.
Prior to preforming any maintenance action, ensure that equipment is de-energized by following site-specific lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures, including zero energy verification.
How do I know if I'm at the right terminal?
The terminal name is located at the highlighted section of the image
How do I know if the terminal is logged in?
(1) After a successful login, this section will read, "Monitor and Control".
(2) When any command is preformed, this area will update to let you know what has happened.
2.1Set the TMCTs to Maintenance Mode by clicking the TMCT-B box, then:
Change Equipment Role -> Change to Maintenance
The TMCT-B box will turn orange.
2.2 Click the TMCT-A box, then:
Change Equipment Role -> Change to Maintenance
The TMCT-B box will turn orange.
When the second TMCT has been changed, a pop-up window appears.
2.3 Click CONFIRM
3.1 Set the SSR/DMTIs to Maintenance Mode by clicking the SSR/DMTI-B box, then:
Change Equipment Role -> Change to Maintenance
The SSR/DMTI-B box will turn orange.
3.2 Click the SSR/DMTI-A box, then:
Change Equipment Role -> Change to Maintenance
The SSR/DMTI-A box will turn orange.
When the second SSR/DMTI has been changed, a pop-up window appears.
3.3 Click CONFIRM
4.1 Set the SSR/DMTIs to Idle Mode by clicking the SSR/DMTI-B box, then:
Equipment Control...
4.2 In the pop-up window, change Channel Processing from Active to Idle by clicking the gray box below, "Idle".
The box will turn blue to show it is now idle.
4.3 Click CLOSE.
4.4 Set the SSR/DMTIs to Idle Mode by clicking the SSR/DMTI-A box, then:
Equipment Control...
4.5 In the pop-up window, change Channel Processing from Active to Idle by clicking the gray box below, “Idle”.
The box will turn blue to show it is now idle.
4.6 Click CLOSE.
5.1 Click the Tx box, then:
Equipment Control...
5.2 Under, “All Amplifers and Amplifer Power Supplies”, click OFF.
For a moment, a “Command In Progress. Please Wait.”, notice will display on the screen, then disappear after the amplifiers have shut off.
The Tx box will turn red.
The Power Supplies have now turned gray and set to OFF.
In the Power Supply section, the two remaining green boxes represent the Drivers A and B.
5.3Click OFF under each.
The Drivers A and B boxes will turn gray.
The two boxes in the Drivers section will turn from orange to gray.
5.4 Click CLOSE.
6.1Right-click in an open area, then click:
Local Workstation Actions
6.2In the pop-up window, click the box by TMCT SHUTDOWN.
6.3In the confirmation window pop-up, click CONFIRM.
The screen will change a few times to show xconsole logs, and eventually go black, then show a white screen with, “syncing file systems… done. Program terminated. {8} ok”.
What do these white icons mean?
Indicates something has changed at this location.
Indicates an issue that needs to be addressed.
Move to the TMCT-B terminal. You'll notice the TMCT-A box is dark because it has just been shut down.
7.1Right-click in an open area, then click:
Local Workstation Actions
7.2In the pop-up window, click the box by TMCT SHUTDOWN.
7.3In the confirmation window pop-up, click CONFIRM.

8.1Open the panel door to Unit 1: SSR/DMTI Channel A.
8.2Switch off the REX Power Supply [1A3].
8.3Switch off the DMTD Power Supply [1A2A25].
You will hear Unit 1: SSR/DMTI Channel A power down.
9.1Open the panel door to Unit 2: SSR/DMTI Channel B.
9.2Switch off the REX Power Supply [2A3].
9.3Switch off the DMTD Power Supply [2A2A25].
You will hear Unit 2: SSR/DMTI Channel B power down.
10.1Open the panel door to Unit 4: Transmitter Power Supply.
10.2Switch off the two TCMM Power Supply Circuit Breakers.

10.4Switch off the Channel A and B switches.
11.1Open the front and back panel doors to Unit 7: Comms Cabinet Assembly.
11.2In the back of Unit 7, switch off the Multi-Protocol Server (MPSs) [7A2CB1 and 7A3CB1].
11.3In the front, switch off the Routers [7A4CB1 and 7A5CB1].
11.4Then, switch off the Radar Set Control (RSC) breakers [7A6A1CB1, CB2, and CB3] by pressing the three red buttons.
12.1Switch off the SCB-1 and SCB-2 breakers.
To prevent possible injury to personnel, personnel shall follow the local Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Equipment will power down and the area will get quieter.
If you look at Unit 4, the lights will now be off. The lights on the top right (AC Feed A and B) should be off, indicating there is no power to Unit 4.
13.1Open the Main AC Distribution Panel.
You will need to switch off specific breakers, but NOT all of them, so you need to be accurate in your selection.
13.2The applicable breakers are listed below and to identify these in your panel, you need to reference the D-Mark List located inside the panel door.
